Both Jeff and I have always loved to explore. We enjoy learning about different cultures, history and the natural world in which we live.
When the pandemic was at its peak in 2020 we both struggled to cope with being restricted to the indoors, Jeff more so than me. As many experienced, we were no strangers to suffering with mental health problems that came with being prevented from seeing loved ones.
As soon as restrictions were eased in the July of that same year we wasted no time in getting ourselves out and about in the UK, taking in the sights and sounds of places that we would not have ordinarily have considered prior to the global nightmare that was Covid19.
What started as a two week holiday quickly turned into a five week jaunt through the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Moors, the Peak District and a little bit of Lincolnshire.
Since then we have expanded our horizons further and intend to delve deeper into the fascinating country in which we live. With the help of our trusty 80's tour guide which inspired our first trip we have traversed parts unknown and come back the wiser for it.
Although returning to work and normal daily life has slowed our progress we remain undeterred in our quest for adventure.
We would love to share our stories and hopefully make a few friends along the way.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or queries, we are always looking for new experiences and love to help raise awareness and finanes for worthy causes.
